Stone is a busy market town centrally located in Staffordshire, mid way between The Potteries & the county town of Stafford. The town is ideally positioned within easy reach of the M6, A50 & A34. There are three international airports within one hour's drive & the town has its own railway station with a regular service to London Euston.

Stone is a vibrant town with lots going on - a great selection of pubs, bars & restaurants, a monthly farmer's market, annual beer festival, music festival and a food & drink festival that attract visitors from far and wide. In 2008 the town hosted a round of the British Cycling Elite Circuit Series event for the first time.

For anyone seeking a more sedate lifestyle, the town is set amidst picturesque countryside & is within an hour's drive of the Peak District National Park.

For those with kids to consider, the town has a wide selection of both state & private schools in town or within easy reach, extensive leisure facilities and numerous sports clubs catering for all tastes

Stone has a busy town centre with a variety of shops including the usual high street names & many local retailers, together with two supermarkets.
